Taking your injury at hand, using assessment and figuring out the underlining issue and incorporating everything we have learnt of navigating the human body from years experiance to get you back to play and work. Massage is dependant on the client and injury at hand, going deep into musculature when needed, always with a flow that allows the body to relax.
Mocean Massage Therapy
Therapeutic, safe, effective treatment.
Our Approach
We take each client’s injury seriously, combining careful assessment with skilled, intuitive treatment to help guide your body back to the things you love — play, work, and everyday life.
Massage isn’t just about easing sore muscles. It supports your whole system by reducing tension, improving circulation, enhancing flexibility, calming the nervous system, and helping regulate sleep and stress.
Every session is tailored specifically to you. We work deeply into the musculature when needed, while maintaining a steady, thoughtful flow that allows your body to fully relax and respond.
By addressing the underlying causes — not just the symptoms — our goal is to support healing, recovery, and long-term wellbeing, so you can move through life with more ease and confidence.
Why Massage Works
Massage therapy supports both the body and the nervous system — not just sore muscles.
Physically, massage can:
-
Reduce muscle tension and pain
-
Improve circulation, delivering oxygen and nutrients to tissues
-
Support injury recovery and mobility
-
Improve flexibility and range of motion
-
Help relieve headaches and jaw tension
For the nervous system, massage:
-
Calms the body and shifts you from “fight or flight” into “rest and digest”
-
Lowers stress hormones such as cortisol
-
Improves sleep quality
-
Reduces anxiety and overwhelm
Whole-body benefits include:
-
Supporting immune function
-
Aiding digestion through parasympathetic activation
-
Improving body awareness and connection
-
Helping regulate emotions during stressful periods
Neurodivergent-Friendly Care
Massage can be especially beneficial for neurodivergent people by:
-
Providing predictable, grounding sensory input
-
Helping regulate sensory overload
-
Supporting emotional regulation and calm
Very Simply — Why Touch Matters
Touch is a basic human need.
Safe, intentional touch sends a clear message to the brain:
“I’m safe.”
When the nervous system feels safe, the body heals more effectively.
What to Expect
During your session, you’ll lie on the table either face up or face down, with pillows provided for comfort and support. You may undress to whatever level feels right for you — your comfort and privacy always come first.
As the client, you are in full control of the pressure, pace, and areas being treated. You’re welcome to talk during the session if that helps you feel at ease, or to drop into quiet and fully connect with your body — both are equally respected.
For young adults or children, a parent or guardian is required to be present in the room to ensure comfort and safety.
What is Jenny's Neuro- bundle treatment?
Cranio sacral, Dural manipulation & Visceral manipulation.
I group these all together because I believe they are so closely related and integrated that treating one, usually pulls me to treat the other system.
Cranio sacral aims to restore the movement between the bones in the skull (cranial bones), sacrum and dura mater (connective tissue around the brain, spinal cord and anchoring onto sacrum). Each bone has an optimal motion which, if hindered can lead to many negative symptoms.Using gentle hands-on techniques, the movement of and between the cranial bones and sacrum are assessed and treated in order to relieve symptoms.Furthermore, the connection between the cranial bones and the sacrum is via the dura mater, the connective tissue that is within the cranial bones, surrounding the brain, continuing downwards around the spinal cord, and attaching to the 2nd sacral segment (craniosacral system), enveloping the central nervous system (CNS).
Cerebrospinal fluid is found within the dura mater and when flowing freely, acts to lubricate the brain and spinal canal, bringing blood flow and nutrients to the CNS.The dura mater creates a relationship between the cranium and sacrum so that a restriction in this system will impact other areas along this chain. Cranio sacral aims to synchronize the movements throughout this craniosacral system which may, in turn, have an impact that may be experienced anywhere on the body.
This therapy also focuses on the fluid system of the body. It is said that within this fluid is your body’s “knowing of health”, or the place wherein the memory of your body’s wellness is stored. With gentle hands, this treatment aims to restore the fluidity of your tissues throughout the body in order to restore your body back to its optimal level of health. Furthermore, it helps to bring the mind, body and spirit back into a dynamic balance that may be experienced by a deep state of relaxation.
Visceral manipulation techniques involve remolding and adjusting the position of the internal organs in the body, such as lungs, heart, intestines, liver, kidneys, bladder and reproductive organs. The position and form of each organ is determined by the function of the organs; but if the organ is not in the optimal place, it will not function at its best. This can be experienced as organ dysfunction, nerve irritation, or back pain, to name a few.
WHAT TO EXPECT-
Clients are treated clothed, usually on their backs. Normally, I will start at the feet (my listening post) from where I can not only establish a connection with the client, but be guided to a primary area of the body’s dis-ease needing attention. With gentle hands, I move to this area of restriction and wait in stillness for your body’s healing capabilities to initiate change within the tissues. I then move my hands to the next area of the body that requires attention. In doing so, a sense of deep relaxation and calm comes over the body. While I will focus on the symptomatic areas, I will also work over other parts of the body that I perceive to be contributing to the client’s symptoms.
If visceral is needed, the abdomen is exposed using a towel to cover breast tissue.

PREGNANCY MASSAGE-
Pregnancy is a beautiful time in the life of a woman, but it may be quite taxing on the body.
Craniosacral therapy and Massage Therapy can help relieve some of the aches and pains associated with relaxing hormones and changing postures. Furthermore, can help with many other conditions that are associated with pregnancy: breech presentation, nausea, sacral and pelvic discomfort, overdue delivery, emotional or physical trauma.Pregnancy Massage and craniosacral are wonderful tools for helping prepare a woman’s body and her baby for the birthing process, leading to a more gentle experience for mama and babe. I combine both into my pregnancy massage to make sure you leave feeling like we’ve hit a reset button for mind and body.
While we are on the topic of pregnancy, though I don’t typically offer it as a treatment in clinic shifts, Baby craniosacral is safe and effective. Some of issues that may be addressed include:
LATCHING ISSUES MIS-SHAPED HEADS
PRENATAL TRAUMA
SHOCKTORTICOLIS COLIC
INCREASED OR DECREASED MUSCLE TONE
VACCUM/FORCEPS/CESAREAN DELIVERY
SLEEP DISTURBANCES
HYDROCEPHALY
If this is something you are interested in, Jenny is absolutely willing to find a time to bring your baby in and can show you some gentle techniques to help you and your baby at home.
